Since 2014 we’ve made it a tradition to gather every two years and explore a corner of the country through the lens of its history — presidential sites, battlefields, monuments, and museums — capped off with a Major League Baseball game.

Four days in the nation's capital — Capital Hill, the National Mall, White House tour, Ford's Theatre, National Air and Space Museum, National Museum of American History, Arlington National Cemetery, and a Nationals-Phillies game at Nationals Park.

Galena, Springfield, Chicago & West Branch
Five days across Illinois and Iowa — from the homes of Ulysses S. Grant and Abraham Lincoln to the bright lights of Chicago, a Cubs–Cardinals showdown at Wrigley Field, and the birthplace and library of Herbert Hoover.

Four days across the Lone Star State — the George H. W. Bush Presidential Library in College Station, LBJ's ranch and presidential library, the Texas State Capitol, Space Center Houston, and a Mariners-Astros game at Minute Maid Park.

Four days in the cradle of American liberty — the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum, a day-long walk of the historic Freedom Trail from Boston Common to Bunker Hill, supper at the original Cheers bar on Beacon Hill, John Adams and John Quincy Adams historic sites and a Padres–Red Sox evening at Fenway Park.

Gettysburg & Philadelphia, PA
Four days between the Civil War and the Revolution — Valley Forge and Gettysburg National Military Park bracketed two days in Philadelphia, with a morning at the Gettysburg Museum and Visitor Center, a walk of The Constitutional through Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell, and the cradle of American democracy, and a Mets–Phillies evening at Citizens Bank Park.
